Ironing board cover for my tabletop board! Not strictly a HYSC project but I used Debbie's technique of attaching bias binding found on this site, which is much neater than my usual efforts and created the perfect channel for the cord to go through. I used a layer of thermal fleece plus two layers of 100% cotton wadding on the top to withstand the heat. I also gave the finished cover a light spray with heat protection spray meant for hair straightening! Hopefully that will help prolong the life of the gorgeous fabric.
