I'm a little confused with the flying geese pieces on the BOTM. I've stitched along the diagonal line but am now unsure what it means by 'excess seam allowance' - am I meant to be cutting off the whole triangular piece (shown by red highlighter in photo)? I've watched Debbie's mini video about flying geese but it's made in a slightly different way. Hope someone can help me. Thank you. Karen x
