Hello, Please, regarding the pencil pouch for this month's second project - the zipper insertion. Will an ordinary zipper be able to function properly after splitting the end like suggested in the instructions? I am deathly afraid to try it as in my experience once the zip is split it never functions properly again - it does not close back properly. I would just hate to reach that far only for my project to become ruined. HELP!!!!!. If anyone has a video of your application of the zipper I will be happy to supply my email address for viewing please. Thanks for a speedy response.
