Zig Zag Block of the Month #7 Tutorial | Quilt Sew-Along (2021)
Moderate |
Quick Links: What you'll need Project steps
Learn how to make Debbie Shore's quilt block for July: an eye-catching zig zag pattern!
This month's quilt block has a jazzy zigzag design that requires several diagonal cuts. If you like, why not use this patchwork design for a long rectangular cushion or pillow cover, or for an eye-catching valance?
I have used 19¾ x 21½in (50 x 55cm) fat quarters to cut my quilt strips; if your fabric is wider, then please cut your fabric to these measurements first.
Unfinished block size: 18½ x 6in (47 x 15.25cm)
