This made-to-measure hot water bottle cover will keep you cozy and warm in the winter months!
This made-to-measure hot water bottle cover has a band of fabric across the front to slip your hands into when the hot water bottle is on your lap, to keep you cozy and warm in the winter months!
I’ve used a teddy fleece for the outer as it’s soft to touch, anti-pill or plush fleece would be just as cuddly. Bear in mind that hot water bottles should have an expiry date, normally a number in a circle, the number depicts the year it was made, and the surrounding dots count the month of manufacture. The lifespan of a hot water bottle is about two years. Don’t overfill the bottle, no more than two thirds is recommended, and push out the air before you put the stopper on. Don’t use boiling water as this can damage the seams of the bottle.
Note: Use ¼in (5mm) seam allowance
