This project is not as complicated as it might look, and it is a great way to use up small pieces of left-over fabric. These little balls would make fun toys for youngsters or unusual decorations for Christmas!

You will need:
Equipment
- Needle and thread
- Pinking shears (optional)
- A small plate or saucer to use as a template
Materials
- Six 8in (20.5cm) circles of cotton fabric, any pattern or plain
- A 5in (13cm) strip of ribbon for hanging, plus extra to create a bow
- Kapok filling to stuff
