Embroidered Chicken Tea Cosy | Kitchen Sewing Pattern
Very easy |
Quick Links: What you'll need Project steps
Learn free motion embroidery with Debbie Shore's simple tea cosy sewing pattern.
Keep your brew warmer a little longer with this cute tea cosy that is sure to put a smile on your face! I’ve used craft cotton fabric for the main material and interfaced it thermal/insulated wadding to keep the heat in. I really enjoy free motion embroidery and its hand-drawn style, but you could use a narrow satin stitch on your sewing machine or even hand-sew the appliqué on if you prefer, for a slightly smarter look.
I've also created matching Kitchen Chicken oven mitts and the video shows you how to make a matching cafetiere cosy!
Use a ¼in (5mm) seam allowance throughout.
