Penguin Doorstop | Simple Christmas Sewing Pattern
Easy |
Quick Links: What you'll need Project steps
Make Debbie Shore's penguin doorstop sewing pattern, which will bring a smile to your face.
Quick and easy for beginner stitchers, I'd like to introduce you to my penguin doorstop project. I’ve used button eyes for my penguin. If you have children, add a spot of wet glue behind them just in case they’re tempted to pull them off! With children that are very young, I advise hand sewing French knots, or using the embroidery/darning foot on your machine and free-motion embroidering over the same spot several times, to make sewn-on eyes instead.
Finished size: 9 x 11 x 6in (23 x 28 x 15.25cm)
Note: Use a ¼in (5mm) seam allowance
The fabrics I've used are from my shop and I use Gutermann HT2 wet glue.
