You could use an old pair of jeans and a checked shirt to make a recycled stocking, and even put an initial on the pocket to make it personal!

You will need:
Equipment
- Sewing machine
- Hand sewing needle and thread
- Iron
Materials
- 30 x 24in (78 x 62cm) of denim fabric, for the stocking outer
- 38 x 30in (96.5 x 76.25cm) of gingham fabric, for the stocking lining and pocket
- Ribbon, 5/8in (16mm) wide and 24in (61cm) in length.
- Seven buttons of varying sizes, for decoration
