This is a no-sew, folded and easy-to-make fabric star decoration for Christmas. With four fabrics, you can make this patchwork-style, Scandi star in 10 minutes.
About this “quick-make”
Here's the tutorial on how to make pretty, no-sew star decorations! I've opted for traditional reds and greens in order to have my hangable stars ready for Christmas! You can pick any four fabrics of your choice, though, and adapt these decorations for any occasion – not just Christmas!
Tune into the above video, and you can create this star in a series of folds! For the points, I utilize a technique that is similar to making Prairie points. Since there's no hot glue involved, making this a fun project to make with children. You'll be able to complete it in an afternoon.

You will need:
Equipment
- Fabric glue
- Spray starch
- Scissors
- Iron and ironing mat
- Tweezers (optional)
Materials
- Four strips of fabric measuring 13½ x 4in (34 x 10cm)
- A 7in (17.7cm) ribbon or cord to use for hanging
