Non stick foot

Working with laminated fabric or leather? A non-stick foot is ideal for reducing friction, and allowing your fabric to move through your machine smoothly.

This is sometimes called a Teflon foot, and it can vary in colour depending on the manufacturer. A non-stick foot is designed for sewing 'sticky' or slippery fabrics like laminates, leather, vinyl or elastane that might otherwise stick to or slip under your presser foot. Using a regular foot for these fabrics will create friction or cause your stitches to skip. Always use the right foot for your project!
