Split Quarter Square Triangles

Split quarter square triangles are a great way to start making more complicated quilt designs!

The split quarter square unit is made up of two halves – one half is plain fabric and the other half is a combination of two fabrics. If you've already tried my Half Square Triangle technique, then this is a great next step! You'll also need it for some of my Block of the Month quilt designs.
