This month we have two projects! This yoga mat carrier could also be a useful bag for your towel when going swimming, or storing all your knitting notions.
This stylish mat carrier has a handy zipped pocket in the top – a perfect secret place to keep your phone and spare change whilst you’re working out! I’ve used soft canvas for both the outer and lining sections, but cotton or even denim would also work well.
Finished size: 24 x 7in (61 x 17.75cm)
Note: Use ½in (1.25cm) seam allowance throughout.

- 45 x 24in (114.5 x 61cm) piece of outer fabric
- 45 x 28in (114.5 x 71.25cm) piece of lining fabric
- 45 x 24in (114.5 x 61cm) piece of fusible fleece
- 24in (61cm) length zip
- 9in (23cm) length zip
- 50in (127cm) length of 1in (2.5cm) wide webbing
- 1in (2.5cm) rectangle ring
- 1in (2.5cm) rectangle slider
- 50in (127cm) length of 1in (2.5cm) wide bias binding
- Strong matching thread
