Flower Head Block of the Month #10 | Quilt Sew-Along (2020)
Moderate |
Quick Links: What you'll need Project steps
Debbie Shore's patchwork quilt block features a beautiful abstract flower.
October's block is a lovely abstract flower, that could easily be used for another project to decorate home furnishings and more. This patchwork quilt block makes use of Half Square Triangles (HSTs). Half Square Triangles are a popular quilting unit made by sewing two fabric triangles together to form a square. This combination of squares and triangles creates pretty petals and leaves. I think this quilt block would make a stunning cushion cover – in fact, why not make one to match your finished quilt?
Block Size: 10in (25.5cm) square finished; 10½in (26.75cm) unfinished
