Convertible Backpack | Bag Sewing Pattern With Video Tutorial
Challenging |
Quick Links: What you'll need Project steps
Debbie Shore's convertible backpack sewing pattern can be worn in three different ways.
Want a bag that you can carry on your wrist, wear over your shoulder or fling onto your back? Why not have a bag that can do all three! You can take your sewing skills to the next level with this convertible backpack sewing pattern, designed for advanced sewers! In this project, you'll master techniques like bag construction, precision stitching, and working with Kraft-tex™ material. The base of my backpack is made with Kraft-tex™ paper fabric. Although it’s made of paper, it has a leather-like look, is washable and is incredibly strong!
Finished size: 12 x 12½ x 3½in (30.5 x 31.75 x 9cm)
Note: Use a ¼in (5mm) seam allowance throughout.
Edited (11/3/2020): Unfortunately, the downloadable pattern template for this project on its release date had an error in it. We are very sorry about this. Please know it has since been corrected, and the pattern template available for downloading now is the amended version.
