Colourful Draught Excluder | Quilt Block Sewing Pattern
Moderate |
Quick Links: What you'll need Project steps
You can transform a quilt block into a draught excluder project for your home.
Living in an old house usually means draughts, so here’s a stylish way of keeping rooms warmer in cold weather – a fun, bright draught excluder! It uses the same patchwork design as your August Block of the Month: Dominoes, so you could easily use the same colourways if you’re making both projects.
You can use toy filler to stuff the draught excluder, or the contents of an old pillow, but if you want to add weight to it then how about an old rolled-up towel, which is ideal if the draught excluder gets damp too!
Finished size: 31 x 5½in (79 x 14cm)
Note: Use a ¼in (5mm) seam allowance throughout unless otherwise stated.
