Make this lovely project pouch for your sewing notions in an afternoon! Or, if you'd like, use it to keep stationary or other important bits and pieces. The clear, transparent pocket will ensure that you can see everything stored inside. The base is lined with fusible fleece to keep it sturdy and protect your belongings.

By the end you'll have:

1. Created a practical project in record time.
2. Practised finishing a piece with bias binding.
3. Practised some hand sewing.

• Scissors

• One 11 x 9½in (28 x 24cm) main fabric piece

• One 11 x 9½in (28 x 24cm) backing fabric piece
• One 11 x 3in (28 x 7.5cm) backing fabric piece
• One 11 x 9½in (28 x 24cm) piece of fusible fleece (H630)
• One 11 x 3in (28 x 7.5cm) piece of fusible fleece (H630)
• A 12in-long (30.5cm) zip
• 68in (172cm) of bias binding
