When printing the templates, some of the images get cut off a bit at the bottom. Does anyone else have this problem?
Michele replied: 23 Jan 22 at 12:28
Make sure that when you preview the image before printing you select the 100% or actual size. Not the best fit which on my printer is the default setting.

With the block of the month, is it best to quilt it with scribbles or lines after quilt is made or as you go?
Debbie replied: 18 Jan 22 at 16:54
It's not a quilt as you go, you decide how you'd like to quilt it when it's put together!

Hi halfyarders, please can you help me. Does anyone know where I can find Debbie?s demo of the cushion cover, made with no raw edges, ie. all the seams are enclosed. I watched it once when Debbie demonstrated it on one of her live shows, I have been searching through the YouTube posts but can?t find it. Hope you can help. Thanks in advance. Marilyn x

Was it the blue Festive Tree one ...it is on Facebook as Debbie shared it from SearchPress on 28/11/21. I have posted the link below but I don?t think it will work from this website format. https://www.facebook.com/SearchPress/videos/240028531416989/

Does anyone know what this is for? I think it came with my sewing machine. Thank you
Megan replied: 15 Jan 22 at 10:24
You don?t have to use it but I think you put it under your spool to stop it from slipping off the machine when sewing I think

Block of the month. I have cut the required lengths. But when I put them all together they are coming up short? Is there a special way I put this together. First time I have ever done anything like this.
Alice replied: 29 Jan 22 at 19:35
I cut one long strip of white fabric and cut it after sewing. Mine doesn't measure the 12.5 either

Not really a question, just to say after watching the show on 5/1/22 tried the chevron blocks. Almost binned a couple of time, but continued and made into a cushion
Alice replied: 29 Jan 22 at 19:40
Looks great. I will have to try it.

Hello, I?ve a question about using spray starch. I?ve never used starch on patchwork pieces before but thought I?d give it a try this time. Is it ok to use any sort of spray starch or do you need something special. I have a can of Dylon Spray Starch and used that yesterday - made the fabric lovely and crisp - but I?m thinking now is this making the machine needle sticky or gunking up my machine? Thanks
Lynn replied: 12 Jan 22 at 15:26
It's best to use 'Best Press'it has been especially made for using with fabric so it won't stick up your sewing machine, pins etc. Debbie has it in her online shop. Happy stitchingx Lynn
