That was a sample made by one of my design team to showcase the fabric, I'm afraid there is no pattern...

Hello, inspired by Debbie's concealed zip cushion cover yesterday, I would like to make a similar cover but for a 50cm cushion. Could anybody let me know what length invisible zip I should use for this size? Is there a simple calculation to be done for different sized cushions? thank you for any help you can give me. Kind regards, Maureen
Debbie replied: 17 Sep 21 at 18:44
Just use a zip thats a couple of inches shorter than the fabric, as long as you can get your cushion pad inside it really doesn't matter!

Hi all please can someone suggest what type of thread to put in the bobbin, so I can put a top thread in the top please ( I am hopping the bobbin is the bottom and the spool is the top fingers crossed) would a white spool be alright? I.E. do you have to use a special bobbin thread thank you Helene

Hi , can you tell me if Debbie has ever made heat wraps, that can be warmed up in microwave. If so did she produce a pattern and what did she put in them. Thank From Pauline x
Debbie replied: 13 Sep 21 at 16:48
I'm afraid I haven't made a heat wrap, apparently barley works well though...

Hi. I wondered if there is a way to search for questions asked about the Seminole Quilt without having to scroll through every question? And also is it possible to set up alerts for when your question is answered? Thanks

Does anyone make and sell the toys from Debbie's patterns and if so have you managed to find any of the fabrics that Debbie sells that have been tested to en71-3 standard to comply with CE/ CAUK toy safety regulations.... Sorry bit long winded, so many fabric companies don't see toy makers as their main market and so do not test their fabric to the above standard... Thanks in advance Denise
Debbie replied: 10 Sep 21 at 14:33
I'm afraid the fabrics don't have this certification, as you say, our suppliers are mainly quilt and dressmaking fabrics so they don't have the teses done...

thanks for replying, basically i can't figure out how the piece has been rolled before sewing the final seam as shown in photo 5, page 90, half Yard Vintage book. Maybe I've made a mistake prior to step 5 though. be great if you could demo it sometime
Debbie replied: 10 Sep 21 at 07:56
The tube is rolled so that the raw edges are right sides together, so the whole bowl is actually inside the two pieces of fabric that need to be joined, does that help?
