I just finished the September BOTM and it's about 11inches, so I wanted to trim it back if it needed it, but I couldn't work out what size the finished block should be from the instructions, could someone tell me what it should be? Thank you.

Recommendations from experienced bag sewers, have to make two backpacks for niece's twins, what rype of fabric would you use ? Ordinary and odicoat it, waterproof fabric or just ordinary canvas ? Love to have some ideas please.

You certainly can, just avoid heat. You could always try heat reflective wadding...
