For the hobo bag is there a way to use a zip instead of the magnetic snap?
Laura replied: 13 Jan 25 at 02:33
I think you could add a zip if you adapted the zip panel on the three way bag ..just need to work out the length needed to fit the opening of the hobo bag.

A friend of mine's birthday is coming up and she's obsessed with Snoopy. Any ideas of what Snoopy themed gifts I can sew?
barb replied: 7 Jan 25 at 10:00
There are many variations of snoopy sew on motifs https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p4432023.m570.l1311&_nkw=snoopy+sew+on+patch&_sacat=0 Once you have chosen what your friend would like then look through the projects on this site to add the motifs to. Bags in particular, or even the small, quick make, hot water bottle cover, even the door stop template could be used and adapted. Good luck

saw the cover of Debbie's Love to Sew: Sewing Room Accessories: could the 'roll' be adjusted to make a cosmetic bag and brush roll please? Love Debbies instructions always clear (the Youtube videos of cosmetic rolls such as these seem to be quite finicky and difficult) Been asked to make two for my niece's 14 yr old twins
Laura replied: 5 Jan 25 at 00:32
Yes good idea…the book is in the sale on Debbie’s site as well so a great bargain 😊

Thinking of using the mulberry trees linen fabric for a cushion cover does anyone know if this will be suitable? Also thinking of doing a piped edge and wondering if anyone knew what shade of green this us to colour match ?
Laura replied: 4 Jan 25 at 09:35
I have used this for a bag and it is a soft feel fabric so I think it would be good for cushions. The colour green is a bit deceiving as it is lighter than you think. I think the organic pale green https://www.debbieshoresewing.com/shop/brands/craft-cotton-company/make-believe-organic-solids-pale-green/ on Debbie’s site would probably work or she has a Olive green https://www.debbieshoresewing.com/shop/fabric/jersey/plain-jersey/plain-ponteroma-olive/ that might just work. If you are unsure I am sure Debbie will advise you if you email her at enquiries@debbieshoresewing.com but there might be a delay as the sale is on this weekend and they may well be busy 😊

When you order from Debbie Shore’s sewing site where do you put your 10% off?
barb replied: 2 Jan 25 at 19:55
when you get to the checkout screen there is a box to enter the code. It is ' have a coupon'?

Happy new year to everyone!!! Will someone please explain how Edwin's shoe is made? The instructions says 2 separate pieces for each shoe but the picture looks like it is one whole piece at the top back. I do not understand that part how the base goes in and the top that is separated becomes one piece. Help!!!
Caro replied: 2 Jan 25 at 12:10
Thank you so much Laura. I thought it looked like it was on the fold but was puzzled since the instructions said cut 4. Thanks so much for clearing this up. I will stitch the back seam since I already cut 4.

Hello, I'm hoping someone can tell me which needle I need to sew the sequin fabric I've bought of Debbie's site. Many thanks in advance, Jan
DEE replied: 2 Jan 25 at 20:48
If you bought the multi coloured sequin fabric I made my dress using a needle for stretch fabric.

Good afternoon all. Who’s looking forward to starting next years block of the month? Really enjoyed gathering the fabric together for this and today labelled the fabric so I don’t get confused!
Anna B replied: 6 Jan 25 at 16:32
Hi Yazmin, thanks for replying. Good luck with your first block of the month, hope you enjoy doing it. I finally had time to sew this months block today.

Go to ' your notebook'. There is a tab for favourites. Click on that and anything saved as a favourite will be on the list.
