Happy New Year Everyone!! I’ve searched this site, Debbie’s Sewing Site and cannot find a pattern I saw when I first joined - this is my second year! It’s a really cute “fanny pack “which might have been called a “ bum bag?” Does anyone have a clue where it might be? Thank you so much!!!
Laura replied: 20 Jan 25 at 11:33
This bag was a returning project in April 2023 but was taken down again early last year. It may come back soon as projects are slowly coming back following the change in policy that projects will stay up and be available as long as you are a member. Did you perhaps save the project before it was taken down so that you can use it? Always worth an email to info@halfyardsewingclub.com to see if they can bring it back sooner rather than later 😊

Can anyone tell me which is the similar sewing machine that Debbie has and where do I find it thank you. I know it isn't the same. Janis
Laura replied: 20 Jan 25 at 01:56
This is the machine that is an upgrade to Debbie’s DX7 . It is the same but has a few more functions and add ons. She talks about it on her live on Wednesday. There is an offer on it until 1st February. https://www.debbieshoresewing.com/shop/new-arrivals/featured-products/sewing-machines-featured-products/juki-hzl-dx7/

I’m trying to find the material that’s used for making a cover for my hob when not in use, that I can put hot pans on, the silver stuff to stop burning through, not sure what it’s called. sorry, hope that makes sense
Sue replied: 18 Jan 25 at 10:49
Hi Ros, I believe the one with the silver backing is called Insul-bright. However, Debbie sells 2 thermal types of wadding that are softer and have a nicer feel. There's a thermal wadding which is great value for money and also a Vlieseline 272 Sew-In Thermolam. My preference is the Thermal Wadding it's 160cm wide. Hope that helps.

I'm looking for a drawstring cosmetic bag that opens flat, so you can see everything inside easily. I'm sure I have seen Debbie make one a long time ago, I have searched You Tube without success, can anyone help please?
barb replied: 16 Jan 25 at 06:52
This one may be an option. Could make it bigger if needed https://www.halfyardsewingclub.com/blog/live-stream-october-2020-bobbin-bag
