Debbie Shore's Dressmaking Studio: Tunic Sweater Dress
Easy |
Quick Links: What you'll need Project steps
Combine a shirt and a sweater to create a completely new garment altogether! This is a patternless, made-to-measure sweater dress project by Debbie Shore.
About the project
Update a plain sweater by adding details from a coordinating shirt! The sweater needs to have a wide bottom and neckline, as adding the shirt pieces will stop it from stretching. Add a longer length of shirt to make it into a dress.
This project is from my book Debbie Shore's Sewing Room Secrets: Essential Skills for Dressmakers, where you can find further guidance on making garments.
