Practical Bag Organiser | Easy Storage Sewing Pattern

Download Debbie Shore's bag organiser sewing pattern, which has oodles of pockets for storage.

With its lightly padded exterior for some added protection, this bag organiser project is large enough to fit an iPad, and there’s room for your phone, note pad, pens, cosmetics and more! It also makes it easy to transfer your essentials when swapping handbags. The D-ring tab on the side is a perfect place to clip keys, and the centre section zips up for added security.

It’s quite easy to increase or decrease the size of the organizer to fit your handbag but note that the fabric requirements will change if you do so.

I’ve used strong canvas fabric for the outer bag and quilted it to give the plain colour a bit of interest but, of course, you could use any cotton, printed or plain, or why not try denim or faux leather?

Note: use a ¼in (5mm) seam allowance.

Finished size: 12½ x 8½in (31.75 x 21.5cm)
