Spring Wonky Street Pillow
Easy |
Quick Links: What you'll need Project steps
Spring is here! Celebrate the new season with the third cushion in my collection of seasonal street-scene pillow covers.
It’s spring in Wonky Street, the days are getting lighter and warmer, and the flowers are in bloom! The greenery for the flowers is worked first by machine and then the flowers and larger leaves are added with simple French knots, cross stitches and lazy-daisy stitches, creating a sense of depth. You’ll want yellow and orange embroidery thread/floss for the daffodils, but you can choose whatever colours you like or already have for the other flowers. And if you don’t fancy hand sewing, you can work all the flowers with machine stitch – or even use beads.
