What’s the paper called you stick small pieces to and then turn over and sew down the lines marked on the paper?
Mel replied: 8 Sep 25 at 21:06
The process is called Foundation Paper Piecing - you can use regular copier/printer paper but you also buy pre-printed FPP pads of various styles of blocks. These are usually thinner paper.

Hello, I am wanting to buy a sewing table of some sort. I would like to be able to also use it as a table to cut fabric. Can anyone recommend one? As with all these things you probably get what you pay for, but I don't want to spend a fortune.
Annabelle replied: 19 Sep 25 at 12:37
Brenda, thank you. Can you believe I was watching Sewing Street a couple of weeks ago and they had a table on there that I purchased at a reasonable price. It came flat packed and is rather heavy, so now I am waiting for someone to come and help me set it up. So fingers crossed.

I finally got round to making the tool roll, prompted by our upcoming village craft and produce show! It will come in very handy, too.

Thank you, Mel! Yes, it was the main project for September 2021, called Sewing Set. It has a scissor keeper with it that I haven’t made yet.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to download the new magazine. No button I push seems to work. Does anyone else have this problem?
Wendywoo replied: 5 Sep 25 at 19:40
Tap on the picture of the front page of the magazine and the “button” will appear underneath. Keep your eyes open as it does disappear.

I've not tried cotton I'm afraid, but I don't see why it wouldn't work...
