I am new to this club, could you please tell me when the online is live, and how do I get to it
barb replied: 19 Jun 25 at 17:41
There will be a countdown to the on line sessions on the home page here. On the day you just go to the home page and join. The next one is planned for June 28th. See the calendar under blog for details. Hope this helps

Every time I try to download a pattern I’m asked to sign in again and again and again. I gave up after the third attempt today. I’ve tried before with the same outcome. It’s very frustrating

I am having the same problem, it certainly isn’t an easy site to work from

I would like to make the wide leg trousers, but when I measure I'm size 20 in the waist and size 26 in the hips. So I don't know what Size to cut out. My first time trying.
barb replied: 19 Jun 25 at 06:42
I would start with printing the the size 26 pattern and make some adjustments to the waist Then make it up with an old sheet, some very cheap fabric, or something from the charity shop . Then having made it up adjust further before making the real thing up Hope this helps

Hi all, can I ask how I write anything on the notebook page ? nothing happens when I try to type. Many thanks
barb replied: 13 Jun 25 at 20:23
The notes are against a project. Go into a project and write a note there, normally relating to that project. Then you can see your notes under notebook. Hope this helps

How do I edit notes to a certain pattern and should the pattern open from the nites page? Thanks
barb replied: 13 Jun 25 at 16:11
You can't directly edit the note but here is a work around Go to your notebook. Not via the project but via notebook on the menu. Copy the note if you want to Click on note and hit the x at the top which deletes it. then add a new note......paste you old one if you have that as a starting point. Make changes and add. Hope this helps

I have just made my first bag from Occasion Bags book. I made it as toile I am pleased with my achievement and complete with letterbox zip. My question is I prefer my bags to have zips on main pocket I was looking at cosmetic bag but it gets narrow at top. I am open to suggestions please I am new to this I normally make my clothes. Thank you I have just joined this group it is fantastic still going through everything
Laura replied: 13 Jun 25 at 10:37
Not sure what you mean by main pocket but Debbie shows us several zip options in the bag week makes . You have a recessed zip for the main opening of a bag and the child’s backpack gives you an option for a zipped pocket that is fitted across the width of the bag rather than a letterbox zip technique. The great thing about this website is that you can mix and match techniques from projects in to your makes.

hi everyone. does anyone have any tips on how to easily assemble the pattern for the batwing dress. I'm finding the prospect of Sellotaping 34 A4 sheets together a tad off-putting. Thanks
Laura replied: 15 Jun 25 at 09:04
I don’t think the commercial printing is overly expensive ..the question was asked before and this was a response given “ Hi Carol I ordered an A0 pattern online (for the ‘fluted hem skirt’) from Little Legs Fabrics Ltd. (£3.50 for the 2 pages). The service was excellent/prompt. I would use them again. Hope this helps. June”
