Hi Debbie you don't say what size circle and there is no template. I made it 3" and 3 1/2" material. Seems to be fine. Have a good Sunday
Madame Cholet replied: 7 Mar 20 at 19:18
Thanks. I?m just starting it and wondered what size it should be as the template is slightly too big for the square I cut out and the template says 1.5 inches or 8.89 cm which doesn?t compute!

Hi, how big do the fat quarters need to be? I'm not in the UK and will probably buy online, but the size of the pieces seems to vary quite a bit. Eg. 30 x75 cms or 46x52 cms. (i am assuming 25 x 25 cms is too small!) Thank you. Maybe a guide to the optimal size of fat quarter pieces could accompany the notes on the project?

I would love to make a Camden Bag has anyone made one? What was the degree of difficulty used to make them?

The Camden Bag is made using strips of Wadding made be Bosal like the ones used to make a rug. Each strip is sewn together in an oval shape a base and then sides. The support of the handles is made with, I think, plastic tubing, these also make the handles. Its a bit like a big version of the bowls that I have seen.

Hi Sharon, we've looked into this and there doesn't appear to be an issue on our end. We'll keep an eye on it for you though!

I'm confused about what type of fleece to use for the hand bag projects?

I usually use H640 for a soft bag or a Bosal foam for a bag with a firm stand up. JO

Use left over pieces of batting. I also understand women used to use their hair that would come out after brushing it.

Hello Tracey I have just purchased an item from Debbi e shore sewing.com.I first signed in as a member to HalfYardSewingClub and went to clicked offers page. Once there it will give you a code (this maybe case sensitive). Go to debbieshoresewing.com and apply the given code there and let them do the rest at checkout. Hope it works for you as it did for me. Kind regards Tina
