The Weekend Bag pattern/video featured this month - are the bags washable according to the fabric used and how would they be laundered if there are?mixed types of fabric, like the faux leather and cotton featured in the video?
Debbie replied: 16 May 19 at 05:10
I don't wash bags, I just spot clean them, using a protective spray helps!

Would you need a stabiliser on waxed cotton?
17
Debbie replied: 2 May 19 at 18:11
I wouldn't, stabiliser helps to either stiffen the fabric or prevent ot from stretching, just add interfacing if you'd like the fabric to feel heavier, hope that helps!

Hi Ann, If you put the disk in the drive, then go to Finder, in the left hand panel it should show up in that list then just click as normal. As far as I know this should then work, and you will be able to see folder and files. Hope this helps Julia - Macbook Pro User and Windows Random user.

when zig zagging around an applique how many times do you go around the edge.do you have to use a fuseable glue to stop fraying or is the zig zag stitch enough? ?
Debbie replied: 28 Apr 19 at 08:52
I must admit I like a bit of fraying too, but I find if I use fusible sheets like Heat n Bond I don't get the fraying even after washing! if you use a zig zag stitch make the stitch really short, try 0.5, and go around once. However if you find any gaps there's no harm in going around again!

how many books have you brought out and are they easy to follow.i find watching videos easier
Judy replied: 7 Jun 19 at 15:50
I find the videos helpful in doing things I struggle with, like inserting zippers, snaps, etc. But, I also buy books to do easy, new projects that are not in video. Also, books are a must when the internet is down!!
