I know Debbie is doing a video live on Saturday for the first stage of the block of the month. Do we need to cut out pieces beforehand. I?m extremely new to quilting ( as in this will be my first time) and the cutting out scares me a little because of the odd and small sizes!!
Laura replied: 25 Jan 24 at 09:59
Glad I could help a little, perhaps you could make the quilt block storage project first as it has some quilting to practice on. It will be useful but doesn?t have to be perfect x

Going to make this is bosal best ?
Laura replied: 26 Jan 24 at 09:44
This is Debbie?s video tutorial for making this bag and she explains which interfacing you could use. I believe the one she has used is H640 on her fabric. Hope this helps a bit. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zQ92wdl71os

I know I gave asked thus before but I forgot are the measurements on patterns in book width first ?
Laura replied: 24 Jan 24 at 17:34
Width (selvage to selvage) first and length (along selvage) second.

Here?s my version of Debbie?s box pleated bag. Hope this is the right place. I used the woodland fabrics and added a bee instead of a bow

how do i find how to make PJ the mouse? How do I get other patterns and videos?
barb replied: 23 Jan 24 at 04:53
Look under 'sewing projects ' to see all the projects. Clicking on any of the will show the instructions, pattern, and video if there is one for that project. Here is the mouse project https://www.halfyardsewingclub.com/projects/february-2023-pj-the-mouse

Hello. Although I'm a regular on the FB lives, I?ve only joined properly today. A Nanny of three grandchildren, one of whom is now a sewer too, I?m solely a gifter, vintage fabric bag and cushion maker, not yet quilting or clothing or anything too hard. I?ve got my own labels and I sew them onto all my makes, whether knitted or sewn. I?m living in Saron, near Ammanford, which most people know as the end of the M4. I?m so excited to finally get onto the site and just wanted to say hello everyone!!
Cath replied: 22 Jan 24 at 19:34
Thanks for your reply. I already join in the public ones so I?ll be delighted to join the members only!!
