Hi, Can anyone tell me how I can save the video tutorials please?
barb replied: 29 Oct 23 at 17:25
You only need to save the ones that are coming down. a So for example the craft bag is being taken down this week If you go to the project you will see the tabs for instructions and pattern (if there is one) If you look at the instruction tab there is a qr code on it. Download this sheet and the qr code will give access to the video even when its not on the site anymore Hope this helps.

How do I cancel my subscription?
barb replied: 30 Oct 23 at 22:27
This might be the instructions on the site but it doesn?t match with what I am seeing. Yes there used to be a ? manage my subscription ? under ?my account?, But it?s not there now. At least it?s not for me. !

Hello, I wonder if you can help? On one of Debbie's lives she demonstrated how to take up the leg length of a pair of Jeans and I can't remember when it was. I would be grateful if you can help.
barb replied: 27 Oct 23 at 22:44
Not sure where the Debbie shore demonstration is but just search ?taking up jeans? and there are loads of videos using the same technique where you kept he original hem. Here is one which shows it in just a few still photos but there are many with videos if you need that. https://www.instructables.com/Keeping-the-Original-Hem-on-Jeans/

Hi can anyone help me. I've bought debbie Corner creater. It has a white top and bottom on it. Which side has to come off?is it the just the side without writing on? Is it all supposed to come of or what?I don't want to pull it all off then ruin it if the markings are just on the white bit.

This is the advice on the website description on the website ? Made from durable Perspex, measures 8.5? x 6.5?. Both sides will arrive covered in protective film, please remove before use, tweezers may help! Hope this helps you to get started. Debbie explains how to use the tool about 30 minutes into this video https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qh3UZiL5qEw

The Wonky Cushion Set will be taken down at the end of the month as stated on the newsletter. It is best to save the whole set if you want to download the instructions and templates as the templates for the houses is only on one of the projects and you will need them for the three other cushions. The set of cushions are listed here https://www.halfyardsewingclub.com/blog/wonky-pillow-collection These were secondary pockets so no videos to save. Hope this saves any problems in the future.

Hi to all from a very new HYSC member ! I know Debbie has frequently said the video links can be copied for download, to play later via Vimeo. Can someone advise me exactly how to copy the links? I hoped to copy link for the 2018 Craft tote before it is removed end of October. Thank you so much!!
barb replied: 26 Oct 23 at 07:56
Hello and welcome. Any project instructions and pattern (if there is one) can be downloaded . Go to the project and then go to the ?instructions? tab and download. In the case of a project being removed from the site, like the craft bag you mention, it has a qr code printed on the instructions. That qr code gives access to the video. There is an article on this on this site?hope this helps. l https://www.halfyardsewingclub.com/blog/now-you-can-access-my-videos-forever

Is Debbie on YouTube today am I missing her I'm still in hospital and can't remember if the ti.e changed
Laura replied: 26 Oct 23 at 09:02
Hi, I hope you are recovering well in hospital. Debbie did not do a live yesterday as she was on Grandma duties. There is no official ?Live? on Saturday as it is the Open Weekend at Debbie and Kym?s premises but Debbie did say that they may try to go live from there on Saturday if at all possible. Debbie usual sends out any update messages on her Debbie Shore Sewing Facebook page so keep an eye out for that.

I can't find a pattern on HYSC for a simple little girls dress age 6 - 8 and have often seen a little dress behind Debbie when she does her tutorials.
barb replied: 23 Oct 23 at 10:16
Yes, I am sure there are a few simple ones around for free. Good luck

Scissor cutting on sewing machine - someone asked on the last video about stopping needle unthreading. I have found if you always draw the fabric out from the back, that this stops it. I have a Janome
Gill replied: 24 Oct 23 at 00:04
Thank you for this tip ! I have just purchased a Janome and will find it helpful ????
