Hi Everyone. Just has a thought, do I need to add a seam allowance to the patterns for Maddie and Robyn's clothes or do I just cut along the lines shown? Thank you everyone and have a great day.

Hi I am about to cut out the Round Bamboo Handle Bag. And am confused !! cutting out the main fabric is it 12 inches high or 16 inches high? trying to work out if the side panel 6 " x 9 " goes along the short edge or long edge. Thank you a bit brain dead tonight.
Debbie replied: 20 May 23 at 07:17
Always width first then length, so 6" wide and 6" long, hope that helps!

First attempt, found it a little challenging with all the layers and it?s not perfect, but useable.

Fab fabric. Well done

I have a whole bunch of decorative stitches on my quilting machine and I could use some ideas on what to use them on. The obvious answer is quilts but I could use a little more than that ????
Amanda replied: 1 May 23 at 16:38
Oooh all good ideas! Thanks Laura!

I want to do a version of Debbie's scalloped gift bag (link below) but with triangles instead of scallops. Is there anything I should keep in mind when doing that? I want really sharp points for my triangles. Thanks xx https://youtu.be/Pjlp2jcyf_E
Laura replied: 1 May 23 at 17:00
Seems a strange link but Debbie does achieve quite pointy bits on this crown https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9XBceu2VmzM Looks like cutting back to an 1/8? seam allowance helps to get the points sharp. Although you will probably want to change the dimensions Debbie?s You Tube video for Jubilee bunting does give some good tips on cutting triangles in H640 which you might be able to adapt for the top of your box.
