Hi I want to make the doll house into a sewing shop but I?m not sure what to keep in it because my sewing machine would be too big.
Laura replied: 18 Mar 22 at 09:45
I was thinking of adapting the dolls house into a large version of the ?Exploding Notions Box? project on HYSC then you could keep all of your sewing equipment in a suitable compartment but hidden away when you close the house/shop up. You could also make the sewing machine pin cushion in a size to fit the house if you wanted to keep it dust free.

Hi Wendy, some of the kits that have been sent out are short on the fleece, I'm so sorry about that but will have extra fleece sent out straight away!

This may be me having a blank moment. On the 2022 BOTM, it says to cut the background fabric in certain size blocks before hand. On this bit my brains gone to sleep. Measure 13in deep across the width of the fabric. Sorry but i am confused as to what its asking. I know this should be straight foreword but right now "deep across the fabric" has me a blank. Can anyone please explain. Thank you.
Laura replied: 12 Mar 22 at 21:53
I might have misunderstood... Have you already cut some of the required pieces. I was thinking you were cutting the final piece of background fabric as per the initial instructions. . When you cut that piece it will be used as the background for Santa?s Sleigh block so you will not need to cut it again. If you are just starting to cut the background fabric you do need to cut the full width and then cut the separate pieces for the stated blocks (except for Santa?s Sleigh as above). Does that make sense or have I made things worse !!
