I've made a tote bag for a friend and ned to know the best way to wrap it. Thanks in advance. Grace?
Linda replied: 12 Apr 21 at 11:30
I made a tote bag for my friends birthday gift, along with a pot holder. I put both items in a drawstring bag which she can use for tights or socks when packing her suitcase

hi i have been told to polish the sewing machine base to make sure it sew's smooth for free motion please can someone explain what I need is just?furnature polish / a special polish or just a dry cloth? thank you Helene
Elizabeth replied: 19 Apr 21 at 09:07
you can get something called a supreme slider which is designed to help your work slide easily over the bed of your machine, they're a little pricey but they do help a bit. As long as there isn't any glue or anything on the bed of your machine you wouldn't need to polish it

I wonder if anyone can help for months I've been using same pattern and suddenly I'm having this issue per picture I've changed needle, re round bobbins and top threads I stitch the double layer go to the single layer then back to double later and always when I get to the single layer I can see the opposing colour. I cant figure why My tension is 3 to 4 I use moon threads the fabric is cotton it just looks so unprofessional Please can anyone help at all please Thank you Denise?
Anne replied: 17 Apr 21 at 13:23
I?m so glad your sorted. From your photo it was obviously a bobbin problem. I?ve had the same thing. A bit of thread can throw everything out. Also using the wrong bobbin affects my sewing.
