How do I make notes in my notebook please?
Eileen replied: 10 Mar 21 at 19:23
There is a tab marked Your Notebook. It is a nice way to keep track of your projects ad upload pictures for future reference.

Why can I not see the instructions to make the card holder when I have downloaded them and printed them. All I see are the pictures. Apologies if this is a silly question.?
Helen replied: 2 Mar 21 at 13:40
Thank you Debbie, I think it could be I need to down load a more up-to-date Adobe reader. Works fine printing from my phone but not the computer.

Hello!? I have a very basic sewing machine, would like to upgrade to a computerised one and would be grateful for any suggestions.? I don't really want to spend more than ?500 and wondered if the Butterick EB6100 is still worth a look. I have done dressmaking in the past and have started to make more projects for the home. My eyesight is not as good as it one was so I definitely need an automatic needle threader, would like to try free sewing too. Any ideas?? Thank you Fiona?
Fiona replied: 28 Feb 21 at 11:49
Thank you very much Elaine, I have been thinking about a Janone so a recommendation about a specific machine is great. Fiona

Do you ever use any waterproofing products on your bags? ?If so are there any you?would you recommend? ?I'd love to prolong the life of the bags I make, and?I've seen lots on the market but there seems to be such a diverse range I'm a bit stumped on what to try. Any advice gratefully received! Zx
Linda replied: 28 Feb 21 at 16:19
A couple of years ago I made a cross-body bag for everyday use from curtain weight fabric. The background colour was beige with sage and soft pink turtles and flowers printed on it - sounds odd I know. Anyway, I knew it would probably attract the dirt and at the same time I had purchased some new trainers. The lady in the shoe shop talked me into buying a waterproofing protector spray for the shoes. On reading the instructions I found I could use it on any fabric. I took the bag outside - have to use the spray in a well ventilated space - sprayed the bag and hey presto - it has dispelled the dirt!
