Anyone making bags for bag week? Don't forget you can sell your projects so if you're making for charity this is a good time to get sewing!
Tallulah replied: 4 May 25 at 12:55
Yes, the zipped tote looks great and is definitely on my list once I've finished the drawstring trousers. I love zipped bags, they are so practical and quick to secure. I really like that style of zipped closure on the tote.

Hello I'm going to make the wide leg trousers and have a lovely woven viscose linen fabric ready to go. It's 27% Linen, 70% Viscose, 3% Spandex and the supplier says it has a 20% stretch across the width and no stretch across the length. As it is a woven, not a jersey, can I use a regular needle rather than a stretch needle ? And if anyone has experience of using this type of fabric, any tips would be very welcome. I've already figured it frays a lot as I've washed the fabric length! Thank you Jane
Tallulah replied: 2 May 25 at 14:45
Thank you. Yes, I'll definitely be overlocking the edges!

do you know if there is a video on how to use Debbie Shore Perfect Points fabric. I think that she has shown hot to use it but I cannot remember how she did it. Thank you in advance
Sherry replied: 30 Apr 25 at 15:54
Hi Jan, I don't think there is a dedicated video to it, but Debbie did cover it in two of her YouTube / Facebook lives - Wednesday 24/7/24 (approx 30 minutes into the video) Wednesday 28/8/24 (you'll need to forward through the video to find it)

Dear Fellow Members I am quite new to this lovely Club and was just wondering if there is any recognition of a member's birthday in some small way? I only ask because one of the Club's joining questions asks for your birth date. Thankyou so much for your help.
barb replied: 26 Apr 25 at 07:59
Welcome ! No. . Date of birth is a good security question on accounts and knowing the age profile the customers is always good in planning a business. No reminders of my birthday needed here. I’m trying to forget !
