Hi, everyone just wondering what members are using to mark out the patterns for the Chumleys on the fleece especially on the dark colours my chalks don’t seem to work I appreciate you won’t see any marks once it’s been sewn up so using sharpies maybe 🤔 an option what is everyone else using. Thanks.

Hi, I know this is a stupid question but what is the difference between an A0, A4 and a US pattern?
Brenda replied: 22 Oct 25 at 09:35
Morning A0 is very large and have printed by a company like CLC Prints specialist patter printers so no piecing together. For UK users generally. A4 is your normal printer page size you would have in your printer US is how a size for the American sewists as theirs is a little different I believe to uk sizing. Hope that helps.

Can anyone suggest a simple toaster cover I can make. My sister in law suggested one but it had about 100 steps and I got disheartened.
Laura replied: 23 Oct 25 at 08:44
Debbie made a dust cover for a sewing machine by measuring and making size to fit. She says in the introduction on the project that you can use the same method to measure and make a dust cover for a toaster. Hope this helps https://www.halfyardsewingclub.com/projects/sewing-machine-cover-mat
