I'm making the bag 3 ways. putting a zip in the top. I want to use Decovil for stablizing the fabric, do I cut it 1/4inch smaller than the fabric, or do you sew through it. Surely it would make the seams very think.

Yes cut decovil light or heavy smaller to allow for seam allowances.

Looking for a Kitchen Aid cover pattern with pockets for my countertop machine
Laura replied: 16 Aug 24 at 21:54
You could adapt any of these patterns and add pockets. https://www.halfyardsewingclub.com/projects/sewing-machine-cover-mat https://www.halfyardsewingclub.com/projects/wonky-street-sewing-machine-dust-cover https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CTB00bvVtBw

Patterns are removed after 2 years and I think that one went some time ago You could emailing to ask. Or here is another option that you could use as a basis https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=debbie+shore+armchair+tidy&mid=19F9B25EA91413394F0519F9B25EA91413394F05&FORM=VIRE

Hi there, we've tried to amend this. The new instruction document may take a couple of hours to update. Best wishes, team HYSC x

I’m making the craft caddy and am constructing the outside pockets. Mine seem a bit small compared to the pics in the instructions but I’ve cut out as per the pattern. I’m wondering if I should have added the seam allowance, although the instructions didn’t ask for it?
Tracey261204 replied: 12 Aug 24 at 16:16
Yes scale was correct etc. I’m sure it will be fine when it’s all pieced together. Thank you

Hi all. I’m doing block 4 of 2024 quilt ( Seminole waves.). Ive been putting it off as it looked so complicated but I have managed to work it out. My question is…. In the instructions the pic in step for 4 shows four strips joined together but I’ve got ten altogether so I’m a bit stumped. Do we only need four or do we use all ten????

Has anyone made a small crossbody bag for the slim organiser? I prefer them to tote bags
barb replied: 12 Aug 24 at 16:32
The organiser its self is quite big, and that's before you fill it up! I don't see you would need it in a small cross body bag. You could add various extra pockets to the bag in an effort to get more organised ! If its the cross body part you prefer then there is nothing to stop having a cross body tote. Or cross body any other type of bag. But the bag needs to be a reasonable size for the organiser to be worthwhile. Hope this helps.
