No Question, I would like to just show you this bag I have just finished. My first time of using Bosal and metal rings. So pleased with it. The pattern is a download with additional tuition on one of Debbie?s videos.

Thank you for your nice comments. It was fun to make, I shall certainly be making more bags with the Bosal.

Hello everyone, I know the answer before I ask it, but a dressmaker has confused me with this statement "in order to take body measurements correctly you don't wear underwear ". I was always told to wear underwear, for the correct size. Sorry for sounding like a idiot but am I correct Thanks Helene
Bev replied: 1 Aug 23 at 17:29
Crikey. I bought a mother of the bride outfit from a local specialist shop and they had a professional seamstress (French) who needed to do an alteration to the length, bust and shoulder straps. I went into the cubicle with the bra which I intended to wear. She started tugging at me, swore fluently and told me to come back when I had bought an xyz type bra! She was right and it fitted me beautifully. I can just imagine her reply to measuring with no underwear :0 :) :)

Do you put odecoat on the fabric before or after making a bag Thank you anne
Joyce replied: 30 Jul 23 at 11:24
Before you cut out your fabric, and if you want it to be totally waterproof add 3 coats and let it dry before cutting out hope this helps

Did anyone else lose the live link to Debbie this afternoon. I was watching the live make and my screen went blank, and a message said the video had been removed????
Laura replied: 31 Jul 23 at 09:32
There was a technical issue with the video? Debbie made another video of the zipped pouch yesterday to replace the initial one.

Hello all. I am just about to start block 5 the electric fan and wondered whether anyone had any suggestions about how to accurately cut out the fan blades using the paper template. I have a sheet of template plastic in my stash but don?t know how to use it. Hears hoping someone can help.

Which interfacing would you use for an alphabet wall hanging for a child's bedroom? It's just for decoration and won't be used on the floor. Thanks
Laura replied: 29 Jul 23 at 11:48
I think I would use 80/20 wadding for the backing.
