Am I right in thinking that the hysc code for search press is only on Debbie?s books but the DD105 can be used on other authors books too?
Laura replied: 29 Oct 22 at 12:45
Yes Debbie confirmed today that the code DD105 will get you 20% off other authors books on Search Press.

Hi all, I'm new to this and just wanted to say thanks for the welcome and ask what sort of fabric do you use for lining projects eg bags that doesn't break the bank xx
Laura replied: 28 Oct 22 at 18:32
Welcome Diane ?I use plain Cotton Poplin or plain Cotton for my bag linings?there are some lovely colours available and you can usually find a shade to coordinate with your main fabric. As a member of this club don?t forget to get your 10% discount on Debbie?s shopping site ..you can read all about this on the blog article on this site.

Hello everyone, I have just joined your club tonight after watching Debbie live stream on you tube for some time. Anyway, has anyone used odicoat? I am trying to make a backpack and have used odicoat on my cut out pieces, 2 coats, I didn?t get the card with the Gel so have been using a flat brush, 2 days later myself and my seam ripper have become firm friends, I am further behind than I was when I started. Pieces are dragging when trying to sew them together and have to slightly pull them through. Have I put to much of the coating on them and will I also have to re coat along the sewing holes where I have taken things apart. Starting to lose my cool here! Thanks Isobel

Does anyone know what the finished size of the bauble panel is? Cannot find it anywhere .....
Kate replied: 19 Nov 22 at 17:55
Another question re block sizes - where in the instructions does it say finished block size and when you sew the blocks together, do you line up top of the block, then sew down the sides. I'm only asking as some of mine are not quite level. Thanks Kate.

Hope it?s ok to put thus here.I would just like to say how pleased I am with my recent purchase from Debbie Shore Sewing. I took a chance and ordered the 1 kg bag of bolt ends. Will be a really good addition to my stash. I think they are all cotton and even some Xmas fabrics. Thank you

I have received mine as well. Great fabrics and colours already used 3 of them. xxx

Where can you get the lollipops and candy canes that Debbie used on her gingerbread house? I looked on Amazon but there are so many I don?t know which ones to get. Debbie trimmed the lollipops on her video so they must be made of some material, maybe foam or similar. Please can someone help?
Rachel replied: 29 Oct 22 at 11:58
Thank you Shirley, I did that and she kindly sent me details.

Hi Can anyone suggest easy projects for a newbie. Thank you
Laura replied: 22 Oct 22 at 09:04
If you take a look at the blog section you will find Debbie?s live stream of the monthly sew alongs which tend to be easy projects and great to learn new ways of working ?perhaps give the pincushion or drawstring bag a try. There is a sew along on Facebook on 29th October at 11am which you can join in with or watch and give it a go later. My first project on the club was Rosie the Reindeer last year and I was very pleased with the results.
