Can anyone help I am doing June's block of the month. I cannot for the life of me get the background fabric to match the quarter circle . I have snipped into the circle but each one is short. I am new to this. Thank you.

Thank you everyone . I have unpicked again and gone with Lorraine's idea and pinned them it seems to be working better for me. I will hold my breath until I have sewn them and put the block together. Thank you Debbie for your demonstration this morning. Can't thank you all enough for your replies. I was nearly defeated. Xx

Hello all this question is more to do with setting-up spare bedroom, please could anyone help me with this question when looking at YouTube sewing room some people have their sewing tables under their window others have them against a wall, and some people have theirs in the middle of the room,(my room is not big enough for option) my question is which is better against the wall or under the window? if anyone can help thank you.

Laura, I think it depends on what you are most likely to be sewing. As I make a lot of longer items, curtains, table cloths etc, I would not have the table up against a wall because I would need to be able to drop the fabric over the back as I sew. Sorry, that is a bit confusing! Lesley G.

Sewing machine pincushion question - It says cut 4 pieces of wadding/batting. Do I use all of these on one card for the base? So fabric+4xwadding+card And then Fabric+card on the other piece? Or am I missing something? Thank you xx
