Has anyone thought to make the wonky doorstop into a pin cushion? Do you think it would be easy to size down?

I would like to make a travel baby changing mat to match the Baby Changing bag that I made. Would the Odif gel be suitable for a baby, to use on one of the fabrics to make it waterproof?

I'm not sure about this one, there's nothing I can see on the packaging butthis is on their website if that helps... Made in France, our product does not contain Bisphenol and is water-based. Odif OdiCoat can be used with indirect contact to food related projects: aprons, tablecloths, placemats, pie bags, etc... You must wrap foods before placing them in an Odicoat treated bag.

What fabric do you recommend for leggings?
Debbie replied: 7 May 22 at 10:25
Jersey every time! Preferably cotton as it's breathable...

Hi all, I have a problem with my sewing machine and wonder if you've had this happen. I was doing doing some freemotion embroidery on the dolls house and suddenly a horrible clunking is happening. The bobbin is not snarled up, the needle isn't broken, it sounds like its under the plates maybe. Its a Brother machine, one year old
Debbie replied: 6 May 22 at 07:56
Just check you're using the right size bobbin and that there's no thread twisted around it, then phone the helpline, it's usually on the front of your machine...

Hi everyone I have some liberty tana lawn fabric and it's quite thin.. would like to make a cushion should I put some sort of fleece attached to it.
Debbie replied: 6 May 22 at 07:58
I's ude a light to medium weight interfacing, something like Vlieselene G700 directly onto your fabric to stabilise it, then if you wish you could add a fleece to the back of it as well to give it a bit of padding...

Hi can anyone please help I still have problems topstitching cork and Faux leather fabric all bought from Debbie, it keeps missing stitches. What am I doing wrong
Debbie replied: 6 May 22 at 08:01
try a longer stitch length, a walking foot wouold help, if you have a presser foot pressure dial then lessen the pressure a little, finally try a different needle and thread, hope that works!

Hello, If I make the skirt pattern from jersey do I need to cut on the bias? Thank you
Megan replied: 2 May 22 at 10:08
Debbie said with jersey she doesn't think you have to cut it on bias but she hasn't tried so wasn't 100% sure
