I have Just joined club what fabric did anyone use forMaddie and Robyn please
ANITA replied: 28 May 22 at 15:34
I used strong curtain lining - also I thought Calico would be good. I am getting in a terrible mess with her hair ! Second ball of wool, the first just got all tangled together and full of glue - in file 13 (the bin)!

Has anyone ever ironed 2 layers of H640 on the main exterior fabric of a handbag. I decided after the fact that I wanted a heavier interfacing and should have used Bosal. I quilted the exterior lower section so removing the H640 wouldn?t work. The other alternative I thought MAY work is to put the H640 on the lining?don?t laugh now?I just didn?t think this one through before I started. ????. Thanks! Nancy

Just printing out my batwing top pattern and I do not get the page numbers printed even though the sizing box is correct measuring 5cm. I have also printed the page smaller and no page number shows. I think that my printer is at fault and can?t print characters that high in the top margin but not sure if this affects the sizing. Has anyone else had this problem and if so was the sizing ok? Thank you

Thank you Debbie ... will get printing and cutting out today.

This may seem like a dumb question, but when sewing measurements are given, is it width X length? Thank you. I just found the craft bag that is 33cm by 32cm
Laura replied: 12 May 22 at 20:52
Width first then length x

Not a question - a 'Thank You'. I was struggling yesterday with making the Christmas trees, but thanks to this forum, I have been able to finish my block. It was the most complicated project I have done so far. Challenging, but really pleased that I have finished it. Thank you to Laura for her instructions to another member on how to complete tree three .

Hi Debbie & everyone. Has anyone turned the August 2020 box top into a box dress? Would you continue a straight line or change shape. Thank you.
Shirley replied: 12 May 22 at 21:05
Thank you Laura.

I don't understand how to put the first Christmas tree in. I don't understand this process. A video would be really useful for those of us who are new to these various techniques on the BOTM. The instructions say put the tree rights sure together (if I am understanding the instructions in school 3), but that won't give me a seam. Where do I place the material to make the tree. Very confused and ready to throw everything out if the window. I hope someone can help me please. A photo showing placement of the material would be useful.

Have just been reading the instructions of the skirt in May. Not sure if you put the front and back on the fold. If so do you fold the fabric on the cross. Don't want to start cutting until I get this clear in my head. Thanks

Thanks , I woke up this morning then looked at your video and saw that you'd layed out the full pattern.
