@HYSC on 9th September the third item on the bullet list is still says 2?in (6.75cm) squares. 6.75cm converts to 2.657 inches. This is a really challenging block for beginners and I would be so grateful if someone says what the measurement should be in inches? There have been quite a few questions on this, I have trawled through back to 1st September and the instructions still haven't been rectified
HYSC replied: 11 Sep 23 at 11:06
Hi Bev, thanks for your response. The instruction documents have now been updated, and we can confirm that the measurement in question is as Laura has stated above: 2 5/8 in. All the best, HYSC.

It may be shown as 6mm or .25 inch so searching 1/4 will not find it.

Hi Can you help me please? I have a query about this months Block of the month. In the Materials list, it says 2?in (6.75cm) squares. Can you tell me the correct measurement in inches please? I dont want to cut the cm in case it is wrong. Then further down the list is says to says to cut four 2" squares in FAB5 and this repeated again. Do I cut 4 or 8 squares? Thank you so much.

Hi, Would a viscose Jersey be ok for the poncho top?
Laura replied: 6 Sep 23 at 12:44
I think Debbie said in her live on Saturday that a viscose jersey would be good as it has drape ?she did say not to use a quilting cotton as it would not have the required drape.

Hi I've found Debbie's YouTube tutorial about making a Roman blind and I've got everything except the twist rings (can only find sew on ones which defeats the object) that twist onto the loop on the rod tape - does anyone know the proper name for them - or where I can get them from please? Many thanks Lorraine
barb replied: 6 Sep 23 at 07:49
Or this one? https://www.fabricandcurtainsupplies.co.uk/10-small-curtain-split-rings-20mm-roman-blind-cord-repair-103-p.asp

I like the poncho top but I don't like round necked tops can I make this into a V neck? If so how do I do it please? Thank You Jo
barb replied: 5 Sep 23 at 07:08
you would have to create a pattern piece of the shape you want. Using bias binding as in this pattern wouldn?t work so easily for a v shape so a facing would be needed. In short I would say what you are looking for here is a different garment so you would be better choosing a simple commercial pattern for what you want. Good luck.
